Magpul Field Case – iPhone 4s

Magpul Field Case – iPhone 4s

The Magpul Field Case is the sucessor to the Magpul Executive Field Case. The notable changes are a “lay on table design,” an improved camera cutout, PMAG-style ribs that extend across the entire back of the device, and a silent switch cutout that is compatible with all devices. This is a great case, offering protection and added grip with little added bulk all for $10. I haven’t had any problems so far with sagging or flash glare. This is the “Flat Dark Earth” color which is a little darker than I expected from...

Fusion Tables: Export Geocoded Coordinates

UPDATE: Looks like google changed how they export the KML files making this guide basically irrelevant. In a post on the Fusion Tables group: Yes, we made some updates to the KML export recently. If your data is an address, it will export to KML with thetag. If your data is lat-longs, it will export to KML with the tag. If you want this functionaly to still remain in Google Fusion Tables, voice your opinion on this thread on official group Google Fusion Tables is a service by Google for managing and visualizing large data sets in the...

Share MacBook Internet Connection with Xbox 360

If you’ve tried to share your MacBook’s internet connection with Xbox 360 you’ve probably realized its a giant headache. Copy the ip addresses from your mac, manually enter them in Xbox, then repeat over and over when the ip changes. Its really annoying! Why can’t it “just work,” as the Apple mantra goes, why cant DHCP just auto configure the IPs for us like its supposed to? Well, I can’t answer why it doesn’t work but i can share a fix that worked for me… Go to “System Preferences” > Sharing and enable “Internet...

Chinese Curry Sauce with Tofu and Broccoli

Ingredients:4 TBS flour 4 TBS vegetable oil 4 TSP curry powder 1/2 TSP chili powder (to taste) 1 TSP paprika 1 TBS tomato paste (or ketchup) Salt / Pepper (to taste)Heat up the oil and add the flour to make a roux. Stir fry for about a minute so the flour taste gets cooked away and add the spices. Stir fry the spices but be very careful not to burn them. The key to cooking with spices is to cook them in the oil to imbue the oil with the flavors of the spices. Next add the tomato paste (or ketchup) and stir for a few seconds. Finally add...

United States of Pharmacy

This is the first in a series of visualizations and tools i’m creating to empower independent pharmacists with the toolkit to determine the most optimal location to open a store or extend into new areas. This is a heatmap of every single community pharmacy in the United States. As the colors change from green to yellow to red the concentration of pharmacies is higher. It is clear to see that the number of pharmacies in an area correlates to the population density. How it was Made As far as i know there is no freely accessible directory...

Coastline S6 Slim CW Spruce QI Review

Coastline S6 Slim CW Spruce QI Review My new guitar is a Seagull Coastline S6 Slim CW Spruce QI from my local guitar shop the New Jersey Guitar and Bass Center and besides having ridiculously long names both the shop and the guitar itself are ridiculously awesome. Look/ construction This guitar follows the utilitarian philosophy— its beauty comes through in its materials, its simplicity and its sound. The solid spruce top and wild cherry sides/back are topped with a satin matte lacquer that allows the sound vibrations to ring freely and...
